Features & Benefits
- Powerful Motor: Equipped with a 1,050W motor, the HS6601 delivers ample power for smooth and consistent cutting through various materials.
- Compact and Lightweight Design: Weighing approximately 3.4kg, its compact and lightweight nature reduces user fatigue during extended operation, making it comfortable to handle.
- Ergonomic Soft Grip: The comfortable grip design enhances control and precision, contributing to a more comfortable and secure hold.
- Optimal Cutting Capacity: Capable of cutting up to 54.5mm at 90° and 37.5mm at 45°, it accommodates a variety of material thicknesses and angular cuts.
- Aluminium Die-Cast Construction: Features an aluminium die-cast safety cover, base plate, and blade casing, providing enhanced durability and a longer tool life.
- Rear Dust Exhaust Port: This design efficiently directs sawdust backwards, preventing it from scattering around the cutting area and improving visibility. It can also be connected to a dust extraction unit for a cleaner workspace.
- Single-Action Lever for Depth Adjustment: Allows for quick and easy adjustments of the cutting depth, optimising efficiency for different tasks.
- Rear Angular Guide: Facilitates smooth and precise adjustment of the bevel angle, ensuring accurate angled cuts.
- Flat Motor Housing End: Increases stability when the saw is laid flat, particularly useful during blade changes.
- Spindle Lock: Enables rapid and secure blade changes, minimising downtime.
- Soft Start: Reduces initial kickback upon start-up, providing smoother operation and increased control.
- Guide Rail Compatibility: Can be connected to a Makita guide rail (with an adapter, sold separately) for enhanced accuracy on longer or repetitive cuts.

FAQs
Circular Saws are perfect for cutting straight and true through heavy timber, sheet materials, MDF or similar items.
The first thing to consider is the kind of power your work site uses, as many of the Circular Saws sold by ToolStore UK are offered in both 110v and 240v versions.
The next consideration is cutting capacity; this will be determined by the size of the blade. The ToolStore UK range has tools with blade sizes from 165mm through to 235mm and the best way to measure this is to check the maximum cutting depth at 0° and compare this with the cutting depth at 45°. Some saws can cut deeper at 45° than they can at 0° and this is something to think about – choose the tool which best handles the kind of cut you’ll be doing most often.
Other Circular Saws can cut at 60°, which is worth bearing in mind depending on the kind of work you’ll be doing.
Think about the safety features offered by the Circular Saw you’re considering and check they meet your needs.
It's also worth looking at the bore size of the tool as this will influence the choice of blades you can use with the saw you purchase.
