FAQs
What should I look for when buying a Plunge Saw?

Given that Plunge Saws need to be plunged down to the required depth before engaging with the item your cutting, the first thing to thing about is the Maximum Cutting Depths. These will vary depending on whether you are cutting at 90° or 45°.

Check that the tool is variable speed and the range of potential speeds to ensure you have versatility and optimum performance regardless of the materials you cut.

The weight of the machine is worth considering – this can affect both portability and user comfort.

It’s also worth checking what each Plunge Saw is supplied with; not all Plunge Saws come with guide rails, which you may need.

Finally, check whether you need a 110v or 240v tool before making your purchase.
