In the unlikely event that your power tool develops a fault and it's still under warranty, you can contact the manufacturer directly for help. To find out the length of your warranty and the number you need to call, select the power tool brand from the list below.



DEWALT offers a 1 year guarantee as standard. If your DEWALT product becomes defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within 12 months from the date of purchase, DEWALT may replace all defective parts free of charge, or at their discretion, replace the unit free of charge.

To facilitate this, DEWALT will collect your machine/battery or charger for inspection, repair or replacement on their direct service. You should contact them either by phone or email using the details below:

All Makita products purchased from ToolStoreUK come with a standard 1-year warranty. By registering your product within 30 days at Makita UK you will receive a two-year extended warranty additional to the one-year factory warranty, as long as your product is CE marked. These products come with a standard 1 year warranty however BOSCH are so confident about the quality of their products that they will extend their manufacturer's warranty from one year to three, free of charge, provided you register your product online within four weeks of purchase.

METABO offer the XXL Warranty, which provides three years' worth of protection from faults, provided you register your machine with METABO within four weeks of purchase. Visit the METABO website for more information. 




All Milwaukee power tools have a 1 year warranty, which can be extended to 2 years for free if you register your new Milwaukee tool within 30 days of purchase. You can also extend your warranty to 3 years on certain models, although this excludes M28 rechargeable battery packs, battery chargers and accessories.

Cordless brushless tools in HIKOKI's can now be protected by a new extended 5 year warranty for 18V and 36V (Multi Volt) ranges.

You can register your cordless brushless power tools for an extra 2 years over the automatic 3 years from the heavy duty 3 year warranty. Batteries of 5.0Ah and above are covered, as well as Multi Volt batteries. Online registration is required within 4 weeks of purchase. Visit the HIKOKI website for more information.

The standard Warranty Period on all Trend products is 12 months. Products that are eligible for an extended Warranty Period, shown below, are subject to registration here within 28 calendar days of purchase. The ‘Product Guarantee Certificate’ (supplied after successful registration) and original proof of purchase (showing purchase date) will serve as proof of the extended Warranty Period. Each tool must be registered separately. The Warranty Period begins from the date the product is purchased. This date must be documented by the original proof of purchase.

In addition to the statutory warranty claim, Einhell grants the end customer a manufacturer's warranty of 24 months on appliances and 6 months on batteries from the date of the proof of purchase on all technical defects for which Einhell is responsible. If the products are registered online up to 30 days after the date of purchase, Einhell extends these warranties to 3 years for appliances and 3 years for Power X-Change batteries as well as 10 years for the motor in the case of a PurePOWER Brushless appliance. The latter warranty covers only defects in the motor of the manufacturer mentioned below which are due to a material or manufacturing defect and is limited to the repair of such defects or the replacement of the motor at our discretion. 

Warranty claims must be made before expiry of the warranty period within two weeks after defect detection. After repair or replacement of the unit, neither an extension of the warranty period nor a new warranty period for the unit or spare parts will be initiated. This also applies if an on-site service is used.

Einhell products sent in without a type plate or proof of purchase cannot be considered, nor can 2nd choice products from Einhell factory sales. Resold Einhell products via third-party suppliers or private individuals are excluded from the warranty claim. 




EVOLUTION Power Tools are offered with either a two-year or three-year warranty, subject to terms and conditions.

Black and Decker


BLACK AND DECKER is confident of the quality of its products and offers an outstanding guarantee for users of the product. This guarantee statement is in addition to, and in no way prejudices your contractual rights. The guarantee is valid within the United Kingdom in addition to the territories of the Member States of the European Union and the European Free Trade Area.

If your BLACK AND DECKER product becomes defective due to faulty materials or lack of conformity within 24 months from the date of purchase, BLACK AND DECKER guarantees to replace all defective parts, repair products, subjected to fair wear and tear, to make sure of the minimum inconvenience to the customer, unless:

  • The product has been used for trade, professional or hire purposes
  • The product has been subject to misuse or neglect
  • The product has sustained damage through foreign objects, substances or accidents
  • The product has been purchased as used or second hand
  • Repairs have been attempted by unauthorised persons

In order to make a claim, you will need to submit proof of purchase when contacting us and your product must display the CE mark.




Kreg Tool Company products purchased in the UK and Ireland are guaranteed for 12 months. In the event of a defect due to faulty materials or lack of conformity, please contact us in the first instance. We will work with you and our suppliers to resolve any issues.




Register your PASLODE tool with them and benefit from a two-year warranty with premium service repairs in the unlikely event of a fault.

NUMATIC warrant to the original purchaser that its products are free of defects in both material and workmanship for the period shown below:

All ToughBuilt products are protected by their 25 Year LIMITED LIFETIME GUARANTEE to the original purchaser against defects in material or workmanship.  Normal wear and tear and conditions resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, alteration or improper care or maintenance voids the 25 Year LIMITED LIFETIME GUARANTEE.  This guarantee is exclusive and in lieu of any other express guarantee of any kind.

ARMORGARD provide a warranty that their products will be free from defect in workmanship for a period of 12 months, except in relation to any gas strut or lock forming part of the goods.

If any product supplied by Hozelock is found to be defective due to faulty manufacture and/or defective components within the guarantee period, Hozelock will repair or replace the product to the consumer providing the original proof of purchase. The guarantee period on selected Hozelock products may be extended subject to the following conditions:

  • The product qualifies for an extended guarantee, which is indicated on the display packaging of the individual product
  • The Hozelock product is registered online by the end user within 30 days of purchase by visiting www.hozelock.com/register-your-guarantee/

V-TUF products sold by ToolStore UK are shipped directly to the customer from the manufacturer. In the event of your V-TUF machine failing due to product or manufacturing defects within 12 months of purchase, a free-of-charge rectification will be carried out or a replacement provided. To request support, simply send an email with details of your machine, what needs to be done and your address to enquiries@v-tuf.com.

Extending your warranty
