Brushed vs brushless DeWalt circular saws
We recommend choosing a brushed DeWalt circular saw (like the DeWalt DCS391N 18v) if you’re after a more budget friendly option.
Brushless motors are typically the best in terms of efficiency, runtime, and lifespan. They also offer more power and less maintenance, but this does come at a higher price point.
No matter the task at hand, you’ll find the ideal DeWalt circular saw in our collection. Learn more about each product, and when you’ve made your decision, benefit from free delivery and a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty as standard.

How do I adjust the depth on a DeWalt Circular Saw?
To adjust the depth of your DeWalt circular saw, you’ll need to find the depth adjustment lever near the rear of the saw. It’s usually behind the blade guard.
You’ll then be able to unlock the base plate by pulling the lever out (or turning anticlockwise if it’s a knob). Once that’s done, you can move the base plate and adjust it to the correct depth.
How do I change the angle on a DeWalt Circular Saw?
If you need to adjust the angle of your circular saw, simply unplug or remove the saw’s power source and find the bevel adjustment lever on the front or side of the base plate.
Turn it anti-clockwise or pull the lever outward. You can then tilt the saw left or right to your desired angle. Once set, tighten the knob or level in place and test on a scrap piece before proceeding.
