FAQs
FAQs
What should I look for when buying a Hammer Drill?

The first thing to consider is the kind of power your work site uses, as many of the Hammer Drills sold by ToolStore UK are offered in both 110v and 240v versions.

Then, a key consideration should be the tool’s Drilling Capacities. You should check that these will be sufficient for the work you’ll be doing.

You can get an idea of the power of the machine by checking the impacts per minute (ipm) and the no-load speed, which usually tells you how many revolutions per minute the drill can provide.  Given that Hammer Drills are usually used on the toughest materials, such as masonry, a higher ipm can be very useful.

"An excellent drill made in Europe. One criticism is lank of instructions regarding fitting the hand grip. I damaged it on the first use because it was not properly engaged."
