FAQs
FAQs
What should I look for when buying a Rotary Drill?

If you need a drill which you can rely on for hours at a time, then a corded Rotary Drill might be the right choice.

The first thing to check is whether you need a 110v or 240v tool; the range at ToolStore UK includes both.

When choosing a Rotary Drill consider the chuck capacity and whether or not the chuck is keyless; these factors may influence your choice of drill based on the availability of and ease of changing drill bits.

Then think about the input power your potential purchase offers, which can range from 450W to 750W. A more powerful tool can drill deep holes more rapidly.

The number of rotations that the drill will provide can be checked by reviewing the No Load Speed.

Another factor in your choice might be the weight of the tool; heavier tools can be less comfortable for users to work with over long periods.
