The DeWalt DCC1018N 18v Compressor is part of a class leading range of cordless power tools. It has an advanced module with pack identification for improved power/performance when paired with a FlexVolt battery. The DeWalt brushless motor improves efficiency (runtime) and because there are fewer wearable components the life of the tool is extended.
The DCC1018N will allow users to drive up to 1220 x 18g brads with a 6 ah battery and up to 650 x 18g brads with a 4Ah battery. The One Turn Regulator provides the ability to precisely adjust theregulated pressure quickly and efficiently in one turn. There's no need to set tank and output pressures. This unit is sold Body Only and doesn't come with a battery, charger or air hose.
FAQs
Some cordless tools have specific uses, or simply don’t fit neatly into conventional product groups but that doesn’t mean you can’t buy them from ToolStore UK! From Grease Guns to Table Saws and everything in between, we are here to help.
When choosing a specialist tool, be sure to check the product specifications so you can be certain your purchase will perform as you need it to. Remember that, if you have any questions, we’re only too happy to answer any questions before you hit the “Buy Now” button. Just get in touch!
Brushed motors use carbon brushes to transfer power from the fixed part of the motor to the rotor. This creates a reliable and relatively inexpensive motor, but brushed motors d require regular maintenance, in order to either clean the brushes or replace them as they wear out. A brushless motor, by contrast, uses a magnet mounted on the rotor to generate the power and electrical switching to perform the function carried out by the brushes. The additional complexity of the motor’s working means that brushless motors are usually more expensive than brushed.
As a rule, there won’t be a choice of voltages for specific machine types we have listed under ‘Other Cordless’ but the category does include products which run at different power levels, from 10.8v through to 54v.
