What should I look for when buying a Detector?
The ToolStore UK product range includes a number of Detectors; these can be vital tools when you’re working out exactly where (and where not!) to work on a wall. So what are the key things to look for?
One important consideration is the Measuring Depth as this determines how far into a wall you can pick up things like live cables, copper wire and steel. You may also want to consider how accurate the device is, as this can affect the results you can achieve.
You might also want to think about the IP Rating of the tool as this indicates the level of protection provided to the Detector from dust and water ingress.
Delivery & Returns
We offer free delivery on orders over £55, placed before 4pm Monday to Thursday. Note that next day delivery for orders placed after 4pm on Thursday, up to 4pm Friday, is usually Monday (excluding bank holidays). Estimated delivery for all orders placed over a weekend is Tuesday.
