The DCH263 inline cordless SDS-Plus rotary hammer is powered by a brushless motor and 18v XR batteries for powerful, fast drilling up to 28 mm into solid concrete and extended runtime. This rotary hammer drill also features an Active Vibration Control handle to deliver vibration of 9.1m/s² meaning the user can work for longer, 3 modes of operation and an LED work light to illuminate the work area.

The DeWalt DCH263N SDS-Plus 18v Hammer Drill has three operating modes; Rotation Stop mode for light chiselling in plaster, tiles and render, Impact Stop Mode and Rotary Only drilling through wood and metal.
This superb DeWalt Power Tool is supplied with a hard-wearing brushless motor at it's heart making it ideal for drilling anchors and fixing holes into concrete, brick, and masonry from 4 mm to 28 mm. The bright white LED work light with delay feature increasing visibility plus the compact, lightweight and ergonomic design improves comfort and support of the DCH263N during extended operating periods. This tool is supplied Body Only in a carry case and doesn't come with a battery and charger.

"I was looking for a general purpose SDS drill - the DEWALT DCH263 does this perfectly. It's lightweight and powerful with a good running time (I use 54v batteries). The rotary only/hammer only/rotary and hammer selector makes it easy to use for hammer drilling holes for rawl bolts, cables through walls, security anchors in concrete floors, as well as chasing out mortar joints to replace pointing on 'hammer only' and core drilling on 'rotary only' (As yet I have only used it with 65mm dia bit through block, but it was well up to the job). The additional features of shock absorption grips are good for extended periods of use, and a plug in point for a dust collector is a nice touch. All in all, very pleased."
