There are various aspects to consider when choosing a Multi Tool. Among the most important is the Oscillations Per Minute – the number of times the blade moves from one side back to the other. If the speed is too low, the blade will be unable to cut, but if it too high, you could scorch the material you’re working with.

Brushed motors use carbon brushes to transfer power from the fixed part of the motor to the rotor.
