The Makita 191K01-6 40v Max XGT power source kit has everything you need to either start, or expand your new Makita 40v Max XGT prestige power tool range, including 2x BL4040 4 Ah lithium-ion batteries, a DC40RA 40v Max XGT rapid charger and a Makpac Type 1 carry case with inlay tray.

If you’re choosing a battery for your power tool, there are two major things to check: that you have the correct voltage and that it provides the amount of power, measured in ampere hours (ah) that you need.
The voltage is the most important aspect as most cordless tools will only run at their stated voltage. There are some exceptions, such as the DeWalt FlexVolt range which can run in both 18v and 54v modes.
If you’re going to be using the tool over a long period, the weight of the battery is also worth checking; this can have an impact on your comfort.
In terms of power for handheld devices, ToolStore UK offers AA, AAA, C, D and 9.6v batteries in a range of pack sizes.
Delivery & Returns
We offer free delivery on orders over £55, placed before 4pm Monday to Thursday. Note that next day delivery for orders placed after 4pm on Thursday, up to 4pm Friday, is usually Monday (excluding bank holidays). Estimated delivery for all orders placed over a weekend is Tuesday. Note that due to the size and weight of some products, next working day delivery is not available and additional carriage charges will apply.
