FAQs
By definition, a Site Saw is for use on jobsites and is designed for heavy duty cutting. But some have multiple functions; if you need both Table Saw and Mitre Saw capabilities, a Flip Over Saw allows you to use one tool for both types of work. However, the majority of Site Saws are Table Saws with large diameter blades and increased cutting capacities.
Whichever kind of saw you’re choosing, look at the maximum Cutting Height and Cutting Width the tool can cope with and make sure these meet your needs.
Another important consideration is the kind of power that your site runs on; do you need a 110v machine, or one which plugs in to 240v sockets?
Consider also the blade diameter; larger blades offer increased cutting capacities but may not be interchangeable with blades from other tools, such as Mitre Saws.
