The LS0815FL 216 mm Mitre Saw from Makita is a compact, professional slide compound saw for cross and mitre cutting with a 1 400 W motor and a blade with a diameter of 216 mm. A laser shows the line to be cut and an LED light offers added lighting. The tool has a high cutting capacity, delivering a 65 mm depth of cut and pulls out to an impressive 305 mm. With a mitre range of 50° to the left and 60° to the right with positive stops at the most commonly used 0°, 15°, 22.5° and 45° increments and bevel angles of 48° left and 5° right, this saw offers the user maximum versatility.
The soft start motor ensures that your workpiece isn't jolted out of position by sudden start up movement and reaches a 5000 rpm maximum no lad speed for a precise, clean cut. The built-in laser guide provides effortless, spot-on accuracy every time, while the LED joblight illuminates the workpiece in low light situations.
FAQs
Mitre Saws are an essential for anyone who regularly needs to make precise, accurate cuts. The trick is to identify which machine best meets your needs. There is a lot to consider in terms of the features available, including the maximum mitre range, which determines the range of angles you can cut with the tool, the maximum bevel range, which indicates how much the saw can tilt either to the left and / or the right, which reduces the need to turn your workpiece while cutting.
The blade diameter and bore are important considerations, as these will impact on the cuts you can make and the range of additional blades you can purchase for your Mitre Saw. In addition, you should consider the speed at which the blade rotates and the weight of the tool, as these will impact on the control you have over the saw when using it.
Make sure you pick the correct Mitre Saw for the power sockets available; many of the products in our range are available as both 110v and 240v models.
