FAQs
What should I look for when buying a Diamond Core Drill?

The first thing to consider is the kind of power your work site uses, as many of the Diamond Core Drills sold by ToolStore UK are offered in both 110v and 240v versions.

Then, a key consideration should be the tool’s Drilling Capacities. These will vary; typically, Diamond Core Drills will be able to penetrate further into masonry than concrete.

It’s also worth checking whether the tool is ‘wet’ or ‘dry’. Drills described as ‘wet’ use water to make outdoor core drilling tasks easier. Water reduces friction, which in turn also reduces noise, vibration, dust and heat.
