How to change a Makita circular saw blade

3. Remove the bolt and flange.

4. Carefully release and remove the current blade.

5. Take the protective cover off your new Makita saw blade and slot it in place of the old one.

6. Replace the flange and slot the bolt back in.

7. Press the spindle lock again — this time, hold it as you use your allen key to turn the bolt anticlockwise until it’s secure. Now your circular saw should be ready to use again!
