The LS1019L Mitre Saw from Makita features a 120 mm tall dual sliding fence system featuring upper and lower fence adjustments for more precise mitre and bevel cuts. A 'one touch' sliding lock for locking movement of the carriage can easily be achieved by removing / inserting the lock pin. This provides excellent sliding durability of the safety cover.
The large turn base supports the work piece securely. Holders are provided on both sides to hold long work pieces horizontally and to support a wide work piece. There is a front knob for easy bevel angle adjustment and N easy to operate mitre angle lock. The mitre angle can be unlocked by turning the knob anti-clockwise whilst pushing down the lock lever. Once the releasing lever is pushed down, the turn base can be moved without pushing down the lock lever. The LS1019L mitres 0 to 60 degrees left and right, with positive stops at 0, 15, 22.5, 31.6, 45 and 60 degrees left and right. The Saw has a see through blade guard system for greater visibility of the blade and line of cut. There is an on-tool hex wrench for fast and easy blade changes. A factory calibrated class II laser enables accurate alignment of the blade and cutting line.
The LS1019L offers excellent dust collection via a new dust collecting port and can be connected to a dust extractor.
