The Makita HW1300 Pressure Washer is powered by a 1,800 watt series motor to deliver up to 450 litres per hour for maximum cleaning power. The HW1300 is ideal for reducing water usage, as it uses less water than a garden hose whilst delivering up to 55 times the pressure. This machine retains a low noise level by using sound absorbing sponges on the inside of housing and through the vibration isolation structure of the pump.
The HW1300 features a self-priming function, meaning that water can be supplied from not only the mains supply but also from water storage in a bucket using self-suction hose set (keep 1 metre or less between the inlet of the machine and the water surface, as the maximum suction head of the machine is 1 metre).
The pressure is adjustable quickly and easily by turning the handle. There iS a foam nozzle for foaming the detergent and a long, super-flex, scratch proof, anti-kink 10 metre high pressure hose for various applications. The tool has a handle and rear wheels for easy mobility. The HW1300 is equipped with a built in hose reel; the pressure hose can be wound around for quick and easy preparation / cleaning.
The adjustable pressure settings of the HW1300 enable soft washing of screen doors, air conditioner outdoor units, car body, and more in 'low' mode. Reducing the machine's rpm by working in 'low' mode saves around 20 per cent water consumption per minute and reduces the operating noise compared with 'high' mode.

This tells you the level of pressure applied to the water as it leaves the machine so, the higher the rating, the greater the force with which the water will meet the item being cleaned.
