The Makita DML811 is equipped with three brightness settings for low, medium and high output, a controller with memory function to remember the last brightness setting before powering off and a knob for free adjustment of the light angle to enable the light source to rotate from -30 degrees to 210 degrees to the required angle. The tool also has a battery capacity warning function to notify the user if the battery capacity reduces with decreasing the illumination. Many Cordless Lights are compatible with batteries of various voltages meaning you can ‘mix and match’ the battery to suit your needs, but bear in mind that an 18v battery will provide significantly more runtime than a 10.8v power cell.
