What should I look for when buying a Cordless Kit?
Cordless Kits, which comprise multiple power tools from the same brand, offer great value for money – especially compared to the price of buying all the items individually – but they can still be a big financial outlay. It’s worth thinking about how much use you’ll get out of each item to make sure you’re not spending extra for a tool you’ll hardly use. If you’re adding a new kit to an existing set of tools, you may want to consider staying ‘loyal’ to the brand you’ve already purchased, as batteries will be interchangeable between machines, but most of our Cordless Kits include batteries and chargers. Our Cordless Kits range from 2 pieces right up to 6 pieces and feature all the major brands, so we have a great value option for everyone!
Which brand is best?
ToolStore UK carries all the major power tool brands because we know that they all have special qualities which help to make them stand out. For example, by launching kits which use the FlexVolt 54v battery, DeWalt has created a new frontier in battery power. Makita have also developed a technology which goes beyond the current industry-standard 18v battery and their 40v range provides a lot of power and tool performance. Both DeWalt and Makita also offer 18v Cordless Kits, as do other major brands including Milwaukee, and Metabo. You might already be familiar with tools from a particular brand; whether to stick with that or buy something different is a personal choice.

We offer free delivery on orders over £55, placed before 4pm Monday to Thursday. Note that next day delivery for orders placed after 4pm on Thursday, up to 4pm Friday, is usually Monday (excluding bank holidays). Estimated delivery for all orders placed over a weekend is Tuesday.
