If considering a purchase, check that the blades are suitable for your knife. Some of the products in the range are designed for specific tools, while others are ‘all rounders’.

As a guide, a Classic Hacksaw usually has a length of about 400mm and needs to be kept at a high tension to prevent breakage.

Junior Hacksaws have a very fine blade and are smaller than a Classic Hacksaw, which makes them ideal for cutting in harder-to-reach spots.

Heavy Duty Hacksaws usually have at least two blade positions, offer tension memorisation and often include a handrest at the front of the saw.
