What should I look for when buying Diamond Blades and Discs?

The first things to check are the diameter and bore of your potential purchase; these tell you the size of the cutting disc itself and of the connection between the disc and the tool. Not all disc diameters fit all cutting tools; make sure that you select the right size for your equipment.

The next thing to consider is the thickness of the blade; this may impact on the cutting work you can carry out. Similarly, the height of the segments that make up the blade can influence the effectiveness of the blade for a particular task.

Another thing to check is whether the manufacturer recommends the blade you’re thinking of buying for the task you intend to use it for. For example, some diamond blades and discs are intended for use with porcelain and tile, whilst others are intended for use on masonry.

Delivery & Returns

We offer free delivery on orders over £55, placed before 4pm Monday to Thursday. Note that next day delivery for orders placed after 4pm on Thursday, up to 4pm Friday, is usually Monday (excluding bank holidays). Estimated delivery for all orders placed over a weekend is Tuesday.
