FAQs
First, identify which tool you need. Shears are usually used for cutting slight curves or making repeatable straight cuts into sheet metal, while Nibblers are for precision pattern-cutting work such as cutting sections, small channels, or cut-outs.
Once you know which kind of machine you need, the next thing to check is the maximum cutting depths; these will vary depending on the power of the tool so select a tool which best meets your needs.
If you’re going to be using either Shears or Nibblers for long periods, it’s worth considering whether the tool you’re considering has an ergonomic handle to make working with the machine more comfortable.
That depends entirely on the power available where your tool will be used. The ToolStore UK range includes both 110v and 240v options.
