The GA5030R has a powerful 720 watt motor, with soft start for smooth start-ups, to deliver up to 11,000 rpm for faster grinding. This Angle Grinder from Makita has labyrinth construction seals to protect the motor and bearings from dust and debris machine bevel gears and small gear housing for easy handling. The side handle is positioned at an increased 20 degrees angle for comfort and control, push button spindle lock and lock on switch to reduce user fatigue. The wheel cover protects the operator from accidental scattering of broken wheel or workpiece with minimal wheel cover movement. The GA5030R features anti-restart to prevent accidental start up.

What should I look for when buying an Angle Grinder or Polisher?

There’s plenty to think about when choosing an Angle Grinder. The first factor is the disc diameter; larger discs can make deeper cuts.
