Product Overview
The Einhell TC-BD 450 drill press tackles tough jobs with its 450W motor and precise 5-speed control (600-2650 rpm). It handles both wood and metal with ease, and its large 104mm projection reaches wide workpieces. The adjustable depth stop ensures accurate drilling up to 50mm deep. It uses common drill bits (1.5-13mm) and features a durable chuck for secure fastening. The height-adjustable table with swivel and tilt functions provides versatile drilling angles. The ergonomic handle and safety features like the zero-voltage switch make operation comfortable and secure.

The Einhell bench drill TC-BD 450 is a practical, precise machine for special tasks: Due to the extra-large projection of 104mm, large workpieces made of wood or metal can be reliably provided with pinpoint holes. With 450W power and 5-step speed adjustment from 600 to 2650rpm, material-appropriate and precise drilling is possible. The bench drill can be used at very low and very high speeds and is excellently suited for hard materials e.g. metal and soft material e.g. wood. Exact drill holes possible thanks to adjustable depth stop. Maximum drilling depth of 50mm. The bench drill has a robust sprocket chuck and B16 socket, which allows the use of Morse taper drills and common bits with diameters of 1.5 to 13mm. The ball-bearing boring spindle ensures long-lasting and easy operation. The bench drill can be varied by continuously height-adjustable drill table. In addition, the drilling table can be rotated up to 90° and tilted up to 45°. The rubberised, three-armed rotating handle proves itself due to the favourable lever effect at exact contact pressure without the expenditure of force. The foldable chip guard and zero-voltage on/off switch prevent the machine from unintentionally startup after power failure.

FAQs
If you need a drill which you can rely on for hours at a time, then a corded Rotary Drill might be the right choice.
The first thing to check is whether you need a 110v or 240v tool; the range at ToolStore UK includes both.
When choosing a Rotary Drill consider the chuck capacity and whether or not the chuck is keyless; these factors may influence your choice of drill based on the availability of and ease of changing drill bits.
Then think about the input power your potential purchase offers, which can range from 450W to 750W. A more powerful tool can drill deep holes more rapidly.
The number of rotations that the drill will provide can be checked by reviewing the No Load Speed.
Another factor in your choice might be the weight of the tool; heavier tools can be less comfortable for users to work with over long periods.
