What should I look for when buying a Demolition Hammer?

The first thing to consider is the kind of power your work site uses, as many of the Demolition Hammers sold by ToolStore UK are offered in both 110v and 240v versions.

Then, think about the blows per minute (bpm) rate and the impact energy provided by each of those blows. These two aspects of the tool’s performance will provide a good guide to it’s suitability for specific jobs. For example, a pavement breaker will potentially operate at around 1,000 bpm, but will have a much greater impact energy than a standard, handheld Demolition Hammer.
