Next, think about the input wattage of the tool you’re considering. The Heat Guns available at ToolStore UK have wattages from 1,300W up to 2,300W; the rule of thumb is that higher wattage equals better performance, particularly as more powerful tools usually also have a greater air flow.

If you’re going to use your Heat Gun regularly and for different applications, it’s worth looking for a tool with adjustable temperature and air flow settings.

Think about the nozzles and any other accessories supplied with the Heat Gun and check they’ll meet your needs before making a purchase.
