The Makita DUH523Z Hedge Trimmer is powered by am 18v Li-ion LXT slide type battery (not included), to deliver up to 1,350 strokes per minute. The DUH523Z is equipped with 2 handed operation switch meaning that the motor will only be activated when the switch and top handle are engaged. Other features include a user replaceable 52cm blade, the stain free shear blade surface of glittering silver obtained by non-electrolysed nickel plating that features high anti-abrasion surface for long lasting coating and quick blade change; the blade can be removed without dis-assembling the housing.

This is a Makita Body Only tool and doesn't come with a battery and charger.
