In 1867, Wilhelm Emil Fein founded the FEIN Company to manufacture physical and electrical equipment. Almost 30 years later his son Emil Fein invented the first ever power tool, an electric hand drill, in 1895. Today this long-standing company is a world-renowned power tool manufacturer with a German manufacturing base developing and producing application solutions for the metal working, interior and automotive sectors. Continuing to meet their own high standards, they hold more than 800 active industrial property rights, including around 500 patents and patent applications.
