It’s also worth thinking about the Delivery Volume. The higher the maximum delivery volume, the quicker your new tool can move water.>

Another point to consider is whether or not the pump needs to be submersible and, if so, the depth of water it can handle, as some can work at greater depths than others.

Finally, consider how you’ll power your pump. Depending on the nature of the job and the site you’re pumping water at, mains power might not be available, in which case a petrol-powered tool would be a good alternative.
